The Book Of Ezra Part 13 A Prepared Heart And Ordered Steps

A note about the archive index containing all Bible lessons posted on this blog since its inception in 2019.

An index for all lessons posted from 2019 through 2021, was published on September 7, 2022.

An index for all lessons posted in 2022, was published January 24, 2023.

An index for all lessons posted in 2023 was posted on February 28, 2024.

Each index lists lesson titles and the date each one was posted, so that you can study subjects that we have written about.

Below is a link that will take you to the YouTube channel of Heritage Baptist Church in Smithville, Ohio, where my wife and I are members.

Our Pastor, Mike Alvis, asked me to assume teaching the adult Sunday school class last October and we are currently working our way through this wonderful book of Ezra.

In this lesson we moved into Ezra chapter 7. We saw that Ezra was a master at providing context.

Chapter seven begins with the words "After these things" and we reviewed the highlights of the first six chapters.

Then, we began reading what God says about this man Ezra. He came from a line of Godly priests.

He never served as a priest so he was led by Jehovah to become a ready scribe, one who devoted his life to studying the scriptures.

Ezra had a hunger and thirst for the Word of God, that he might know the Lord better, and that he might love and serve him with all of his being.

I hope this livestream will be a blessing to all who are able to view it.

Bob
