Missionary Update From Ghana, Africa.
THE DARIMANI FAMILY
PRAYER LETTER
MISSIONARIES TO GHANA, AFRICA
“FAITHFUL IN GHANA”
Building a Home that Will Stand
This is a missionary update from Aquila who ministers in Ghana, Africa. He too, faces many different challenges and has specific prayer requests.
This year, our theme has been “Building a Home that Will
Stand.” The Lord is using
this theme both in our family and the ministry to
motivate us to dedicate our families to Him and see Him work through our family
to reach the unsaved.
We are grateful to the Lord for how far He has brought us
since the beginning of this
year. He has faithfully protected and provided for the
ministry and our family here in Ghana. We know that it is through your prayers
that we are seeing the hand of God at work in Ghana.
THE DARIMANI FAMILY - PRAYER LETTER
We had a wonderful service on Easter Sunday in March
where some of our village churches (Doli, Charie, and Nako) joined Wa Regular
Baptist Church in town to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. It was a
beautiful time of fellowship and encouragement to see how the Lord is working
in our various churches.
This year, we had a record attendance in youth camp,
which became a good problem. We were anticipating about 300 campers, but more
than 600 camp[1]ers showed up. These are
times when planning fails, and then God takes over.
All our budgets could not meet the needs, but we
witnessed God providing
in every area of the camp (food, rooms to sleep,
preaching, workshops, health). It was amazing, and people did not even realize
that we were at the point of not being able to take care of the campers. God is
good.
We have heard testimonies of how camp has transformed the
lives of people who came. A missionary from a different part of Ghana met Aquila
and thanked him for the camp. They have seen the effect of the camp in their
ministry, and they want us to help them start a camp at their place.
Our Bible college ended in May, and we are thankful to
the Lord. Aquila taught two classes and we had a successful semester. Some
college buildings are under renovation through the support of the Carpenters
Projects. Both couples and singles dorms will be renovated, and study tables
and chairs, beds, and wardrobes will be provided. A hall will be renovated to
expand it. We are grateful to the Carpenters Project for their work
We are privileged to have a ministry Record attendance in
our youth camp
FAMILY & PERSONAL UPDATES
Rachel is doing fine with the pregnancy. She is due in August,
and it will be through CS surgery since she has had two already. It is advised
for us to do that. She still helps with the children’s Sunday school at church
and with ladies’ Bible studies.
Karen Linda is doing well. We have seen some improvement
and are still praying for healing.
John Frank just celebrated his birthday on June 18. He is
three years old and we thank God for his life.
Ministry Highlights
THE DARIMANIS PRAYER LETTER
JULY 2024
A team from Baptist College of Ministry come from Falls
Baptist Church to be with our ministry. They
were involved in almost all our ministries here (church
plant, radio ministry, children, youth, high schools, VBS, and workshops). By
God’s grace, they saw many people saved, and we pray for lasting fruits from
their ministry. They were a blessing to us.
Village church buildings are in progress. We are building
Kaangu, Charie, and Goguyiri and are fin[1]ishing
the Piree church. Though the economy of Ghana is affecting the work, it is
moving on very well.
Pastor Timothy, who graduated last year, has been praying
for some time, and the Lord is leading him to start a ministry at Tamala (pre[1]dominantly Muslim). It has
the strongest Islamic influence in Ghana. They have been meeting for the past
three months. We are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do.

3. Pray for the church buildings at various villages
and also

4. Pray for new students to come to the Bible
