Prayer Request

I am sharing a personal prayer request with all of you. Please pray for our Bible Study blog ministry. 

Satan does not like the word of God going out on this platform and your prayers for God's Word to triumph over the ancient enemy are urgently needed at this time. Satan also hates it when people understand what God is saying and what it means to how they live. Mark it down, the devil is not happy when the people of God determine that they will live for His glory!

I do not monetize the blog because this violates many Bible principles. 

2 Peter 2:1-3  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 

There are false teachers who use a variety of methods to reach people with teaching that is not good. Peter warns us that they appeal to our natural lust and encourage us to be covetous. We decide to consume our God given resources (Money, talent & time) on things that we want. This is making merchandise of the believers. This is one reason why I will not monetize this blog. I am not going to earn money off of people who come here to study God's Word. 

1 Peter 5:2-3  Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 3  Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

My role as a Bible teacher is to carefully and accurately teach the word of God and show all of us how it applies to our lives. The apostle Peter makes my mission very clear. I must "feed the flock of God" by giving them the Word of God. I must do this with a willing heart, not a heart that wants to gain so many followers and demand their loyalty. 

I must not teach this blog to personally enrich myself (filthy lucre). Therefore I cannot monetize this blog. 

Instead I do teach this blog with a ready mind. 2 years ago, God put it into my heart to do this and He has led many people from many different nations to this Bible study. He is the one who receives all glory for those whose lives are changed through reading His truth in these simple studies. 

Power in prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18  Pray without ceasing. 18  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 

1 Thessalonians 5:25  Brethren, pray for us.

James 5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 

I believe in the power of God's people praying together for a common cause. 

• I ask that you will pray that God will work and put His mighty power behind His Word so that it goes forward without hindrance.

• I ask that you pray that I discern what God wants me to teach.

• I ask that you pray about sharing this blog with your family, friends and loved ones. 

• Most of all, I ask that you pray that God will save many people and change people's lives in such a way that all glory is given to Him. 

Please pray for me and for one another, and encourage others to join prayer about these specific needs. I thank all of you for your prayer support. May the will of God be done in all of our lives.
