  I want to express my thanksgiving and praise to God for honoring His Word as it goes forth in this Bible Study blog. When I began doing the blog almost two years ago, I had a great burden to share God's truth with other people because I know what He has done to change me through His Word. I never imagined that He would take this blog and send it into 95 nations around the world. Thank you for joining us in this study which runs parallel with our End Times study from Revelation and Daniel. We need to get this piece of prophecy in place as we draw nearer to the end of John's End Times vision in Revelation.  The battle of Gog and Magog is going to take place in the future. The timing of this event is subject to much debate, but if we filter out everyone's opinions and look at scripture, it becomes clearer.  First, this battle will take place at a time when Israel has been restored as a nation, living in the land that God promised to give them. This is the current state of Israel today. It seems to position this future battle as taking place  between the time of the Rapture of the church and the beginning of the seven year tribulation period.  Right now Israel has been signing peace agreements with her Arab neighbors, something that was not thought possible even a few years ago. There is an important battle that will involve several nations in a coalition against Israel. In the Bible this battle is known as the battle of Gog and Magog. Most of the details for this fight are found in Ezekiel 37-39.  Scholars and teachers have a variety of opinions as to the timing of this battle. I think that it is best to stick with the interpretation that best fits the context of scripture.   Dead dry bones scattered in a valley. In our last post we looked at the special relationship of the Church or Bride of Christ, with our Lord and Savior, the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. A future time of great blessing is reserved for all those saints invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. There are some other details connected with this grand event that we need to look at. John must have been overwhelmed with joy at the next events that he saw unfolding in heaven. The marriage supper of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, will happen right before Christ returns to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.  It is helpful to remember that marriage in the New Testament is used to describe the relationship of Jesus Christ with His church. In these marriage pictures the church is seen as a virgin being presented to Christ at the marriage supper of the Lamb. The church itself is composed of individual believers, countless millions of born again believers all around the world, that are baptized and united as one body, the body of Christ (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12). Christ's Bride Must Be Morally Pure. 2 Corinthians 11:2  For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.  Paul wrote to a troubled church at Corinth as he sought to lead them back on track ...

Revelation 4 through 18 focuses primarily on the events of the Great tribulation but things are going to change quickly. Revelation 19 is going to introduce a glorious climax to all of the final judgment of the End Times. We are going to see the risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ assume His role as King of kings and Lord of lords.  John begins Revelation 19 with four simple words "An after these things" and we need to remember what the things are that John is referring to. First, these things include the last bowl of God's wrath being poured out. Second, it includes the full judgment and destruction of the Babylonian mystery religion that dominated the world after all other religion...
